YARDAGE MAPSThe
YARDAGE MAPS
differ from the yardage books for several reasons. For some of the
golf courses, there are not sufficiently detailed or reasonably
up-to-date aerial photos available. Also, some of the golf courses
do not warrant the degree of detail offered in the yardage books.
This applies to the smaller golf courses, especially par 3 courses.
As with the yardage books, these yardage maps are free for the taking. All you have to do is open or download a file, print it out and you've got an invaluable resource to enrich your golf game. The files are in the Adobe PDF format, so all you need to open them is the free Adobe Reader. If you don't already have the latest version of the Adobe reader, here's a link to get the Adobe Reader 11: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html TO DOWNLOAD : If you're using Internet Explorer, right click on the file, select "Save target as" from the menu, and save to your hard drive.
